Hello Folks:

I am recovering from a hard drive crash today.
Something I have never seen before was issued by
the AIX restore command:

restore: 0511-316 There is a hole in the map.
Do you want to end the restore? [ yes or no ]

What IS a "hole in the map"? What could be
the consequences of opting to continue to restore
anyway? We are AIX 4.3.3 ML 11
