I don't know if you could call it "fully supported" since Tomcat is OSS. You would have to buy support for it since it is not supported by IBM. How well it works would depend on how well the IBM JDK for AIX works. I have used Tomcat (not in a production environment) in AIX before and everything "seemed" to work fine.
