Hi managers

I've just added a new processor, and done lmf reset with an updated
license, but for some reason, the processor won't come online. I've tried
a reboot, but it has no effect.

# /usr/sbin/psrinfo
0 on-line since 02/27/2004 14:49:42
1 off-line since 02/27/2004 14:49:42

# /usr/sbin/lmf list
Product Status Users: Total Active
OSF-BASE active unlimited
OSF-USR active unlimited
MONITOR-UNIX active unlimited
FORTRAN90-O active unlimited
FORTRAN-O active unlimited
CXXOSF active unlimited
OSF-SVR active unlimited
DECEVENT terminated

# whoami
root

# /usr/sbin/psradm -n -a
psradm: processor 1: Permission denied

# /usr/sbin/online -v
online: processor 1: Permission denied

Why is processor 1 refusing to respond to online? I thought root could "do
anything".

Cheers
Derek
