Replaceing CPU's with faster

Hello,

I have done this before kind of but don't know if it is exactly the same
or if there are other things I must do.

I have a AS2000 4/233 with 2 CPU's the boss is complaining about speed
again. The system is starting to come up past 7:00 am again.
I would like to replace the 233's with 300's or faster. Is there
anything I must do when I do this?? I have the power supply, and the
licenses already.

I would also like to double the memory. It should be as simple as
pulling out the old and installing the new and doing a reboot right??

I can justify it I think. The system has a bunch of sync and CS and wait
states again. Is it going to be as easy as I think or is there any gotcha's.

We need to go to a faster system but maybe this will give us enough time
to do more research and find the system that we need. The running
software is not suiting our needs now but it was 90% customized before
and we are considering replacing it but budget constraints are the issue.

I would appreciate if I don't receive any sales calls about this.
