Thanks a lot to (in order of appearance)
Uwe Lienig, who told me a lot about the inner tickings of graphic adaptors,
and that it probably would not work in my EV6 based system.
Greg Palmer, who mentioned, that it has been replaced by the Powerstorm 350,
Jon Norstog, who said, that there are some issues with 4D series cards and who
gave me the advice to go for a Oxygen VX1,
and last but not least
Tom Webster, who said, that it would be a good enough replacement for a 3D10 :-)
Bottomline for me is: I'll probably stick to my Permedia2-based card until I find
an Oxygen VX1 for a reasonable price.
