Thanks to the speed-of-light answer of Olle Eriksson <olle@cb.uu.se>
now I downloaded pvis kits (PPMBASE200 and SRATCL200) from

        http://www.compaq.com/hpc/software/pv.html

BUT pvis doesn't work yet on my TruCluster 5.1A since it ends with the
following strange message:

pvis
Assertion failed: disk->diskname != NULL, file /local/gearoid/src/sierra/cpq/pvis/libppm/structures.c, line 518
Abort

Can you, gurus, help me again?
