init 6 doesn't work - automount hang

Hello again,

Thanks to everyone who replied. The main suggestion I got was to kill
automountd before rebooting.
So I checked my kill scripts and discovered that
/sbin/umountall -F autofs
doesn't actually force an unmount which is nice.
Anyone got any more ideas on how to modify my kill scripts so that it
will force an unmount of autofs?
