Heya everyone -
I've got a question for y'all..., I've got this E250 I'm trying to get a
fibre ethernet card to work in (qLogic qla2100F to be exact) and I'm having
troubles getting it to work. I've gone through the docs and whatnot..., but
I'm a little lost...
My question is: is there any commands in Solaris to list PCI devices that
the system has detected other than prtdiag? Here's what my `prtdiag -v`
says:
========================= IO Cards =========================
Bus Freq
Brd Type MHz Slot Name Model
--- ---- ---- ---- -------------------------------- -------------------
--- SYS PCI 33 0 pciclass,0000 SYS PCI 33 3 TSI,gfxp GFXP My fibre ethernet card is in slot 0, so its seeing the card and naming it "pciclass,0000" and I cannot find that -anywhere- on the net. Google, docs.sun.com, no where. I'm guessing that the system is seeing a device in that slot, but the system doesn't have the faintest idea of what it is. I've installed the drivers from qLogics site, and I see the driver in /kernel/drv. Is there another place I need to reference the card to get the kernel to load it on boot? Thanks for ya time, have a g'day. :) -- ------------------------------------------ Giovanni Navarrette USLink Internet Systems Administrator e-Mail: gio@uslink.net _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers
