Hello all anyone have any insight or performance tuning tips I can use
to trouble shoot a mutex contention issue I'm having?? I'm getting about
500 -> 700 lock attempts per second. I have tuned a lot of kernel
parameters looked at paging vm stats but now that I have found my bottle
neck how can I resolve this issue??
System: SF15k
OS: Solaris 8 - Kernel 19
CPU: 8x900mhz
MEm: 24GIG
Application: Oracle 8.1.7
SGA size is about 1.2G
