How to recover /dev directory

Dear Managers,

I have a sun Netra X1 box which is running solaris8. By mistake one of our
team members deleted /dev directory. Now the system is not comming up

Is there any way to bring it back to normal state ?

Note : we don't have any backup, also i can't procede with re-installation,
becasue solaris8 does not detect my network card(dmfe0)

Please guide me to solve this problem
