Hi all,

Raid 5 can handle only 1 disk failure. FOr multipls disk failure you need Raid 5 with hot spare. Even this doesn't work if there are multiple simultaneous failure before the rebuild time after one disk failure.

For multiple disk failure use mirroring or Raid 6 which is basically Raid 5 + additional parity.
