Not sure if this applies to this list or if there is another one.
Installed Veritas Volume Manager 3.5.
Mirrored/Encapsulated the boot disk to a 2nd. internal.
Tested the mirror disk by removing the boot disk and at the
ok prompt : boot vx-rootmirror
I get these errors
Warning: Detaching plex rootvol-01 from volume rootvol
Error: Cannot Start rootvol volume, no valid plexes
Error: System startup failed
and the system doesn't boot up.
Should a mirror of a boot disk with Volume manager allow you to boot
off this mirror when the original boot disk is not present?
