What is the best way to upgrade a solaris 6 or 7 box to 8. I have 8 4500 boxes
in production. They all have identical hardware and software. I have 1 spare
4500 that I could use for testing or doing a 1 by 1 swap out. Is there a best
practices for upgrading version 6 or 7. I intended on replacing each box one
at a time by instaling the os and software on the spare. then upgrade using
media. Anyone used live upgrade?
