3rd party DLT tape config

Hi all,

I didn't summarize for my stupid questions from my last two posts. I'm sure
I can summarize something today.

Got a Compaq external DLT drive for emergency backup purpose. It backup
something, but doesn't seem to run at an optimal speed. The Solaris mt
command doesn't do the trick like Linux mt. Is there anything I can change
to specify the tape type, compression ...etc?
