Hey, I _am_ able to read the man-page of metastat. :-)
What I'm looking for are ways to document this stuff in a way that allows
me and others to take a glance at, e.g. a Visio drawing and see what
disk/slice holds what file systems, what disk/slice a filesystem is on,
and what slices are still empty. In an LVM, these informations would be
completely irrelevant, but on SDS, everything needs to be taken care of in
extreme detail. I'm wondering just how you do this.
It also has to be suit-compatible so the internal auditors have something
for their viewing pleasure. ;-)
