Installing Solaris on different machine

Hi gurus!

I try to install Solaris on a Netra T1 and get the system running on a E250,
just by exchanging the disks.
The system boots, but then hangs, because it can't find the root filesystem.
The problem results from the wrong device entries.
How can I update /devices?
