Hi Guys,
I have a sun box and one of my 20GB hard disks just seems to have been
dissapeared. I am unable to mount this disk anymore and I checked to see
if my partition was still there since it keeps giving me an error saying
that partition does not exist basically. When I checked the partitions,
it looks like the partition is not even there and no one except me has
access to this server. Is there anyway to recover that partition, since
it has very crucial information on that partition. I don't want to create
another partition because I think it will format the disk and then mount
it. But the disk looks fine and the only problem I could see is that the
partition for some reason has just been erased or something and I don't
remember formating this disk. It was working just fine yesterday and I am
the only one who accessed this box since then.
Any suggestions will be grately appreciated.
