I'm running X86 Solaris 8, Release 1/01. I'm getting conflicting information
about the nic card that I have to install in the machine. It is a
3C980C-TXM.

It is listed in my /boot/solaris/devicedb/master file but it isn't on the
Hardware Compatibility List. Anyone know if this card will work or not?
