[URGENT] I/O read and preformances

Hi Managers,

I am obesrving my SUN E450 is running slow,

I had differentiated this performance degradation with another server with a
long single process, which ran on this system for 33Hours, but the same
process had completed with 21 hours on another server(with same config).

I am suspection I/O preformance. How do I get the hardware utiligation log for
a certain period or entair process and preformance improvement tools to make
it fast.

suggest me what are the major components, which really matter the performance
of a system.
