Netra X1 hang (contd) - Stale NFS file handle?

My drama continues..

Previously, it was determined rpcbind was hosed on my
install server. Now I get the following:

Sun Netra X1 (UltraSPARC-IIe 500MHz), No Keyboard
OpenBoot 4.0, 512 MB memory installed, Serial
#50670302.
Ethernet address 0:3:ba:5:2a:de, Host ID: 83052ade.

Executing last command: boot net - install
Boot device: /pci@1f,0/ethernet@c File and args: -
install
24000 boot: cannot open kernel/unix

The add_client_install command I used is:

bash-2.03# ./add_install_client -e 0:3:ba:5:2a:de -s
kingtut.corporate.ge.com:/software/solaris9install
monster sun4u

(I'm in a DHCP environment, install and client boxes
get assigned)

Doing a snoop from the install server reveals:

     monster -> kingtut.corporate.ge.com TFTP Ack
block 254
kingtut.corporate.ge.com -> monster TFTP Data
block 255 (512 bytes)
