I have just finished installing Sol 8 2/02 with MU7 and latest recommended
patch cluster as of 10/21 on an E420. I have an application developed in
house, that was written in Ada95 and compiled on a Sol 8 system. All user
.cshrc files, etc have been copied over to the new 420, however, the
application stops with the following error.
ld.so.1: sys_mgmt_main: fatal: relocation error: file sys_mgmt_main: symbol
_libc_register_forkhandler: referenced symbol not found
I remember this happening once before, and it ended up being a ld.so.1 lib
patch....somewhere around MU3 or there abouts.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this error when the
application worked fine on Sol 8, MU5?
