Hi,
Is it possible to use an i86pc Solaris 8 machine to serve the
operating system to a diskless SPARC Solaris 9 host? I'm getting an error
along the lines of 'invalid mediapath image' when I run the following
command:
/usr/sadm/bin/smdiskless add -- -i 172.16.0.50 -e 8:0:20:4:a7:82 -n bung -x os=sparc.sun4m.Solaris_9 -x root=/export/root/bung -x swap=/export/swap/bung -x mediapath=/export/home/jumpstart/Solaris_9 -x swapsize=64 -x tz=US/Eastern -x locale=en_US
However, it seems to succeed if I try it with my Solaris 8 SPARC image.
