Stale NFS File Handle errors

Hi, gurus.
A question related to the well-known topic " Stale NFS file handle".
As far as I know, this usually is a server issue. I have an AIX clustered
NFS-server with two clients; every time a logical host switch is done, the
output in df -k command shows this error in the clients systems. After
umounting and mounting the resource, everything works ok, as expected. This
clients were previously configured as a cluster, with NFS as a resource too,
but I desinstalled patches, packages, and everything seems OK.
Two questions following:

1.- Could it be a client problem? ( I'm quite sure this has to do with the
server, but perhaps I'm overviewing something)

2.- Could this be related to cluster software installed before ?
Many, many thanks in advance.

Best regards:

Ana Estuardo
