How to exit crontab in Solaris 7

Dear Managers,

I was trying to edit my crontab in a Solaris 7 box. I didn't do export
EDITOR=vi before I issued a crontab -e. I know I cannot do ctrl+D to exit,
but ctrl+C wouldn't work for me. Please help!
