Hi everybody
Thank you for your answers. But I'm still having the same problem: I can't
boot from my DVD drive.
I've done this:
ok probe-scsi-all
/pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1
Target 6
Unit 0 Removable Read Only device TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M14011009
/pci@1c,600000/scsi@2
Target 0
Unit 0 Disk FUJITSU MAP3735N SUN72G 0401
Target 1
Unit 0 Disk FUJITSU MAP3735N SUN72G 0401
ok show-disks
a) /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1/disk
b) /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2/disk
c) /pci@1e,600000/ide@d/cdrom
d) /pci@1e,600000/ide@d/disk
q) NO SELECTION
...
ok boot /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 File and args: -s
Boot load failed
ok boot /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 -s
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 File and args: -s
Boot load failed / Can't open device
ok boot /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 -install
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 File and args: -s
Boot load failed
I've tried both Solaris 10 and 8: same boot load failed message. So it's not
a problem of CD/DVD.
Regards
