I am currently adding an IDE disk to a Sun Blade 100 running Solaris 8. The
disk is a 40 gig Maxtor - Model D740X. I have added a /reconfigure, I was
wondering do I need to add an entry in the /etc/format.dat? Basically when I
issue the command format, it is only showing me one disk. I also have tried
the commands drvconfig, devfsadm, and disks, none of which worked. All I
want to do is to get the OS to recognize the disk and make it a separate
partition.
