SUNWpl5u (perl) & SUNWapct

We're creating a jumpstart config in which we don't want to include
the Sun distribution of perl 5.003, as we have pkg'ize a perl 5.6 and
will be including that instead.

However, SUNWapct has a dependancy on SUNWpl5u. From the list
of files, it has a perl module - I am totally and completely
unfamiliar with the SUNWapct pkg. I don't believe we have ever
used it, but it could be used by the system in some way to check
application certification (I think?).

My questions:

1. What would be the implications and effect of removing SUNWapct?
While there are no dependancies on it, perhaps something will
        want it?

2. Will the AppcertUtil.pm perl module play nice with perl 5.6,
        instead of 5.003?

Thanks,

deb
