UPDATE: Sun V210 - Slow to respond - reporting I/O error with Solaris 8

Hi managers,

I was unable to run any commands what so ever, had to console in and
power-off power on. Machine booted up fine but I dropped it into
single user mode and did a fsck -y, mentioned all sorts about issues
that it wanted to fix and it did.

Rebooted again and no issues what so ever, could run all the commands
in the world without an issue.

I'm convinced until otherwised told that the I/O error message I was
getting was pretty serious and fatal, whats the best method to monitor
the disks health in the short term to see if a disk replacement is in
order?

Thank you to everyones time so far.

Regards,

Will
