Hi Managers,

I had a query about connecting to our ftp site. We are having a Ftp
proxy/gateway (name - proxy1) setup on primary interface dmfe0 of our
expternal FTP server runing Solaris 8 operating system.

nobody 56561 1 0 Jan 02 ? 0:01
/usr/local/jftpgw-0.13.5/sbin/jftpgw -t -f
/usr/local/jftpgw-0.13.5/etc/jftpgw.

The other interface dmfe1 hosts the link ip address NATted for connecting
to our FTP site.
We wanted to connect to the FTP site via the proxy1, we are able to do so
but the o/p for some commands shows "cant connection connection" error.

ftp> dir
425 Can't establish connection
ftp>

ftp> pwd
257 "/root" is your current location
ftp>
ftp> ls
425 Can't establish connection

Can anyone let me know why is this error coming and how can it be
resolved. Is it possible to connect to our external FTP site hosted on
interface via FTP proxy gateway hosted on another?

Thanks in Advance,
Sumeet Chandwani
