Hello there:

Sorry for crossposting to Veritas list.
I have a 220R development server running Solaris8,
Vxvm 3.2 with mirrored root disk and some critical
apps/data
in a separate data disks. (datadg diskgroup)

What is the industry's best practice to upgrade this
server to Solaris 9 without jeopardizing this
development
environment? Do I have to upgrade Vxvm to 4.0 as well?
Should I secure Vxvm 4.0 license first?

Does anybody have a generic written procedure for this
case?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion
Tony
