Dear Sir,
i'm using a dell poweredge 2850 and installed on it solaris 10 x86 with scsi
interfaces for hard disks (which it worked after i applied some patches) and
a tape driver DAT 72
the system was working fine till today i dump some backups on the tape (as
usual) and hence after the tape drive refuse to respond ..when i issue a
command mt status for example the response i have is /dev/rmt/0n: No such
file or directory.
i traced the file and the link was there
0 ->
../../devices/pci@0,0/pci8086,3595@2/pci8086,330@0/pci1028,16d@5,1/st@6,0:
but the latter link was not
is there any explaination or solution for that...and how can i recover back
such links
