SunFire 250 drops to the PROM / ok prompt

I have a Sun 250 running Solaris 8, that is not heavily used. Lately it
has been dropping to the ok prompt as if someone had hit the "stop a"
combo. There is no keyboard, I use the console through the AOLM serial
port. The strangest part is that it only does this when no one is
logged into the box.

Once it drops to the ok prompt I see the message
"SC Alert"

I can type "go" and get back to the running OS and the "tail" of "dmesg"
has the following line:

[ID 892202 kern.warning] WARNING: Debugging requested; hardware
watchdog disabled, re-boot to re-enable

I re-boot and it still drops to the ok prompt.

I don't have a clue as to why this is happening. When this does happen
no one is logged in or using the system in any way. It does export
through NFS a disk but that disk is empty and has not been accessed in
quite some time. I recently applied the latest Recommended patch
cluster in the hopes of one of the patches fixing the problem, it did
not.

If I remain logged in the system seems to stay up, once I logout the
system won't stay up longer than about 2 hours.

Please help
