persistent network unreachable errors

persistent network unreachable errors

I've worked on this (among other things) for several days now, and don't
understand how to track what is happening or fix it.

This is a fairly complex server based on an E250 and Solaris 9. I have
spent quite while building the system, but just moved the rebuilt boot
drive into the live system on Sunday (it was built on a backup E250). It
has apache 2.0.54, openssl 0.9.7g, php 5.0.4, perl 5.8.5, mysql 4.0.21,
and other things all from SunFreeware. It also has a variety of things
we built ourselves, including sendmail, majordomo, hypermail, uw imap,
spamassassin, mimedefang, sasl, milter greylist, poprelayd,
squirrelmail, tikiwiki & other stuff.

All of this seems to be working. I have all my virtual hosts accessable,
I can use https with squirrelmail in which php is making imap
connections, hypermail is generating web archives that are readable,
data driven web pages are coming up with php and mysql, etc.

Nevertheless, even after getting my virtual hosts and https connections
working, I am still seeing significant numbers of errors (apache
error_log) all of the form:

[Tue Nov 08 14:13:19 2005] [warn] (128)Network is unreachable: connect
to listener on [::]:443

I'm not sure how to track where this is coming from or why.

I've looked through pages and pages of google searches and haven't found
anything that seems to help.

Any ideas on how to identify the source of the error or to fix it would
be much appreciated.

TIA
