Dear admins,
Our NFS server (EMC NAS) will be down for maintenance reasons during 2
hours.
What would you do on the Solaris NFS client machines:
1/ leave the situation like it, ie do not umount the NFS exported FS
and let the client log error messages ?
OR
2/ umount the exported NFS FS ?
As the operation will be done between 5am and 7am, the first solution
prevent us from waiking up early in the morning !
But as 2 hours is long and I don't know how the clients will react if two
many NFS errors to the server occur.
