Hi.
We have this customer running solaris 7 on an old SUN 250 server.
They have one system disk, one attached hardware raid and one
internal software raid (raid 0 on two disks).
We are gonna clean out the system disk and install solaris 9 to get
multi terabyte support.
We do not wish to upgrade from solaris 7 to 9 because this customer
probably has some
sort of trojan. We do this to clean out the system and get the multi-
terabyte support.
The question is, how do we format the system disk, install solaris 9
and still be able to access the software raid without losing the
data. The software raid is not part of the system, it is two
separate disks that is mounted.
