Hi Manager,
I have just built an E4500 with one CPU board, one clock board, one IO
board and a disk board with on disk
After installing Solaris 8 and running VTS over night the disk board is
in low power mode ( amber led on )
Solaris 8 Recommended Patch Cluster from May/10/05 installed
The output from prtdiag -v :-

System Configuration: Sun Microsystems sun4u 8-slot Sun Enterprise
E4500/E5500
System clock frequency: 100 MHz

Does the disk board not have a PROM?
Why is the disk board identified as "Detached/disabled" ?
The system seem to work fine :-)
