Seagate LTO Drive not seen in Solaris 8 & 9

We have an Seagate Viper LTO1 drive connected to a X6758A card on a V880.

Can be seen by a probe-scsi-all, but Solaris will not pick it up at all. We
have added entries to the st.conf file,

tape-config-list=

"SEAGATE ULTRIUM06242-XXX","Seagate LTO","SEAGATE_LTO";

SEAGATE_LTO = 1,0x36,0,0x1d639,4,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,1;

but still no joy.

Can anybody point in the right direction to resolve this.
