Hello managers...

I am facing a problem listed in one of ur archives...
which i m fwded below..
Please help me in finding a slotion for the same..
I am having E450 server running Solaris 8 with IBM
18GB disks.. tried to autoconfigue disk manually..
Using Low level format in format shows

reserve failed..
failed.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Greetings managers...

Currently we are having a problem on E450.One of my
team member did a reboot on the box
and while the box was coming up we got these error
messages:

Now, the 450 doc says to just make sure the disk is
unmounted, and then refer back to the
user guide for directions to pull the disk out.I
pulled the drive and placed it again.
but didnt see the Led or it didnt recognize. format
command shows the disk:
