Firmware upgrade on A5000 arrays

Hello all,

I need to upgrade the IB Boards on my 4 A5000's and I'd like some advise from
those who've gone through this. Currently the disks on these arrays are under
Veritas VM control. I've read in the firmware readme that the arrays need to be
quiet when I upgrade the firmware so I'm wondering if it would be sufficent to
just boot into single-user to do the upgrade and make sure the volumes are not mounted.

Or should I boot off CD so VM is not running period. and mount the boot drive (on a D1000) so
luxadm can access the firmware file.

Also, should I leave the arrays to be upgraded powered on or should I only poweron the array
I'm upgrading at the time and leave the others powered off.

Thanks

Allen
