Console port connection to modem problems

Hi all,

I posted this last week, but I think it got lost in the other questions
so I will try again since I am still having problems connecting a modem
to the console port.

I have a Netra 240 and am trying to set up a modem connection to it.

In the documentation it says to login to the ALOM and set the if_modem
to true.

Then it say to connect the modem to the port.

I had an RJ-45 to DB-25 special connector made as per the documentation
to do this.

A have performed this, however, the DTR, CTS, and AA lights do not
illuminate as they are suppose to.

I have also attempted to connect to the modem via another dumb terminal
and modem setup, however, the console port will not answer (I guess
since it really never got set up).

I am using a Microcom DeskPorte 28.8P V.34 modem
