reading iso image files

Hello!

I have some iso images on a disk that I would like to read directly without
first burning a CD of those images.

I have heard that there is a way to mount the iso image (via the lookback
file system??) and read it directly, but I cannot find anything in
the manpages to explain how such a thing can be done.

Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone know how to do it?
