Hi,

Thanks to all who replied but problem got solved only after a reboot ,
some people suggested trying lsof -i and netstat -anp didn't help.

i did some brainstroming with this problem , by default if some one
run's the inetd -s you will see all the misleading permission denied
errors for Inetd in /var/adm/messages, if you stop the inetd then i
thing other inetd -s (run as normal user) takes over the services like
telnet and font server ( I don't know why this happens) even if you
start the inetd using /etc/init.d/inetsvc service

Thanks
Raghu
