hi all!
i want to use patchpro without running sun management console on my
solaris 9 server. it works on my client machines where i have removed
the smc packages, though i do not want to do that on the server.
is there a way of letting patchpro to do this -- that is do not try to
connect to the smc? i do not have it running, and i do not want it to
run.
i have tried to search sun managers, sunsolve etc but with no
luck. well the question has come up once or twice but no
answers... yet. anyone? i also posted this question on
comp.sys.sun.admin i couple of days ago, no answers from usenet
either. hope you can help.
