SRC/P controller not detected.

Hi!
I upgraded my Sun E450 from Solaris 7 to Solaris 9.
The upgrade was fine, but I am not seeing the RAID
controller or any of the disks in it:

0) I installed the whole package including OEM support.

1) The root gets an email upon boot:
something to the effect that "... array event from Unknown device detected
.."

2) Upon install of RAID Manager, I get a "fwutil failed!" followed by
"WARNING: set_drivers: No arrays were found that are controlled by either
the
sd or the ssd driver".

Same error with hot_add.

3) I ran devfsadm and the disks command, to no avail.

4) I can see the few disks that are not on the RAID controller (using either
format or looking under /dev/dsk.)

It is a RAID controller replacement that is required? If so, can I just
remove the RAID controller and configure
all the disks using metadevices?

Thanks!

Surya Narayana.
