Filesystem access from multiple machines

Good Morning Managers,

I have multiple 220r/420r machines running Solaris 8 (02/02) with the latest
patch sets. These machines have qlogic (qla2200) fibre channel cards that
connect each machine to our SAN (which contains a brocade switch, and a
couple disk chassis - around 2TB of storage).

Currently we are using Tivoli SANergy to share file systems between multiple
machines. I am looking for a better solution one that provides the
following:

* Concurrent access to a shared file system on multiple machines (i.e. /home
is accessible via all machines)
* Reasonable performance (Tivoli is sporadic at best, in some cases it is
extremely fast, in others, the performance is terrible)

* Some sort or journaled option (like ufs logging) would be nice

I am looking for best practices or even a point in the right direction. I
assume someone out there is using a SAN in this type of setup.

Thanks in advance!

- Derek
