hello all,
on a 250, solaris 8, i apply cluster of recommended patches of Jun/12/03. When i reboot, i see:
Jun 20 07:04:21 scr su[297]: [ID 401707 auth.error] open_module: /usr/lib/securi
ty/pam_authtok_get.so.1 failed: ld.so.1: /usr/bin/su: fatal: passwdutil.so.1: op
en failed: No such file or directory

there is a bug report on sunsolve: 4849761 about "pam.conf is broken by LDAP2 Patch 108993-18" and sun recommand to remove 108993-18.
I execute patchrm 108993-18 but this not work!
and i can't login because it doesn t find lib: sldaputil.so.5!
so i don't understand why sun let this patch in patches cluster if we have to remove it!
my workaround is to copy sldaputil.so.5 from another sun (u5), but i have to use crle because system says "file not found"
i don't understand why i have to use crle, because sun says it is a tool for developpers

so hotline says now that i don't have to use cluster of patches, rather passing it one by one!

anybody had the same problem?
