Folks -
Have posted about this on the Adobe site, but just in case anyone
here has seen this too.
I just downloaded and installed the FrameMaker 7.0 update for UNIX to
update the p492 release to p576 on a Solaris 9 system. The install went
OK, but now attempting to start Frame gives the error:
maker: Starting FrameMaker 7.0. Copyright (c) 1986-2002 Adobe Systems Incorporated.
ld.so.1: /usr/local/frame/bin/sunxm.s5.sparc/maker: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/frame/bin/sunxm.s5.sparc/maker: symbol CTAddFontDirsAndConfig: referenced symbol not found
The The /opt/local/frame/bin/.wrapper scripts sets the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
correctly, so it's not that it doesn't get the shared libraries or
something fixable.
And Frame won't start! What's wrong? Is the Frame update broken?
Is the system missing a required Solaris patch? Any ideas or help
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Debbie
