Dear Folks,
my production server suddenly became very slow at sending email (even
locally), at connecting over ssh to other systems, at canceling
printjobs, and probably at some other stuff that users have not
complained about yet. The server is L2000 running HP-UX 11.0. The DNS
resolution works fine, ping is immediate to the systems where ssh takes 3
minutes to connect. Connection -to- the server is as fast as ever.
I am pretty much stumped, as there were no changes to configs made. I
- -did- edit the /etc/hosts file, but it appears to be ok. Thanks, julius
