[HPADM] Synchronizing NIS netgroup with HP NAS access groups

HP sells NAS servers that support both CIFS and NFS clients. However, the
NFS side does NOT comprehend the use of netgroups to limit exports.
Instead, the NAS server has it's own access control "groups". HP says there
is a command line interface to managing these groups and we could script a
process to synchronize them with netgroups.

Has anybody on the list integrated one of these NAS servers into a Unix
environment using netgroups for export control?

If you have, did you "roll your own" or use a third party tool?

If yoe developed your own solution, are you willing to share/license it?

                                        Thanks, Tom
