[HPADM] Swap Problem on HP-UX 11.11

Dear Gurus,

I setup one swap space for my system with size 12 GB.

When I do swapinfo, the result is:

# swapinfo
Kb Kb Kb PCT START/ Kb
TYPE AVAIL USED FREE USED LIMIT RESERVE PRI
dev 12288000 0 4194304 0% 0 - 1
reserve - 97804 -97804
memory 6618056 3382472 3235584 51%

My questions are:
On dev type why the free amount shown by swapinfo is only 4GB?
Does this equation apply on swap: AVAIL = USED + FREE ?
